Weekend availability is required. Position is for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, additional shifts possibly requested on occasion.

Escape rooms are a unique experience of solving clues, puzzles, and riddles to open different locks designed to fit a specific theme. The number of escape rooms worldwide exploded from a small handful in 2010 to some 50,000 today. It's an immersive experience that can be described as a type of mental/physical adventure game in which people are "locked" in a room with other participants where they have to use different elements within the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within a set time limit of 60 minutes. Participants must be observant and use their critical/lateral thinking skills to escape the room.

As a Game Master you’ll:

• Greet guests and give an exciting introduction to their experience
• Review rules for guests
• Run games for guests including game tracking
• Give helpful clues when guests ask for help
• Celebrate wins with guests and remain positive and encouraging regardless of their escape success
• Reset rooms for the next team
• Take team photo to send to guests
• Minor cleaning duties

You’re a good fit if you have these qualities:

• Love puzzles, riddles, and/or escape rooms
• Able to work on holidays and weekends
• Problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills (can articulate yourself well)
• Basic technology skills (computer skills, emailing, etc.)
• Dependable and respectful
• Can sit for extended periods of time and focus for up to an hour at a time
• Can lift 30 lbs., reach, squat, kneel, climb a ladder, etc.
• Previous theatre or hospitality experience is a plus

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
